I can get it to work using Siri - just not manually.
Oct 4, 2018 · You need to troubleshoot the best you can. I had this happen to my CarPlay a few months ago, and to my Android Auto a few weeks ago. I never figured out the Android Auto issue, but took my Android phone out of my car anyway once CarPlay got Waze and Google Maps. My CarPlay got fixed, but I honestly don't recall when or why or how at this point.
